Good information is conveyed that King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) located in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) opens application for scholarships for undergraduate programs for international students from outside Saudi Arabia. There is no specific deadline for registration for this program.
Based on the QS World University Ranking, King Abdulaziz University is ranked 109th in the world and ranked first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. There are also quite a number of available departments, both Islamic studies, Science, and social sciences.

External Scholarship
This scholarship is offered to students from outside the Kingdom based on the Kingdom's relations with other countries connected through Islamic, Arab, brotherly and cultural reasons.
Terms and Conditions for External Scholarships:
1. Students must behave well.
2. Students must promise to comply with university regulations.
3. Students must be medically healthy.
4. Must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent from within or outside the Kingdom.
5. Must be committed to full-time study.
6. It must not be more than three years from the date of receiving a high school diploma.
7. Age for undergraduates should not be less than 17 years old or more than 25 years old.
8. Students have never been dismissed from any Saudi Arabian university for any reason.
9. Students may not receive scholarships from other universities in the Kingdom.
10. Female students must be accompanied by a male guardian (Mahram) who also receives a scholarship or a resident of the Kingdom who holds a valid residence permit (Iqama).
11. Good command of spoken and written Arabic is a prerequisite for taking part in the undergraduate program.
External Scholarship Application Procedure:
1. Students must apply through the university website.
2. Student information is verified for accuracy.
3. The information is submitted to the Ministry for approval and acceptance.
4. Admitted students will be notified to visit the Royal Embassy for document approval.
5. Students complete the required Visa formalities for travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Scholarship Benefits:
1. Students enjoy all the benefits provided to other students such as sports activities, university trips and socio-cultural activities.
2. Offers subsidized food.
3. Appropriate accommodation and appropriate scientific, social, cultural care and guidance.
4. Two-way ticket for students only at the end of each academic year according to the rules.
5. Monthly allowance.
6. Two months allowance on arrival as a preparatory allowance.
7. Special allowances for outstanding students.
8. Three months allowance as graduation allowance for book delivery.
9. University sports facilities are available.
10. Health service facilities for students.
Scholarship General Rules:
1. The existing regulations in the Kingdom condemn extremism and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
2. Royal residency laws apply to scholarship students and must therefore comply with them.
3. The students will be under the sponsorship of the university for the duration of the scholarship and the university is responsible for them during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
4. Students can apply for a family visa in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
5. Travel documents/passports provided with students must allow them to return to the country where these documents were obtained without any terms and conditions.
6. No scholarship recipient has the right to transfer from one university to another.
7. If a student receiving a scholarship from abroad postpones his studies or resigns and if the university wishes to bring back the student, the university will contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so that the student can continue their further studies.
8. Scholarship recipients are prohibited from working for companies, institutions or individuals during the study period.
End of Scholarship:
1. External scholarship recipients must leave the Kingdom upon completion of studies within a period of not more than three months from the date of completion.
2. If the actual term of the scholarship program ends then it is not allowed to extend the period of more than half the period required to complete the program.
