It is a partnership between the Master Program in Global Agricultural Technology and Genomic Science (Global ATGS) of National Taiwan University (NTU) and SEARCA. The joint scholarship program aims to cultivate agricultural professional talent, foster academic excellence, and promote agricultural research and development in Southeast Asia.
This scholarship is open to citizens of the regular member countries of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), namely: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam who are interested in applying. to NTU's ATGS Global Masters Program. The duration of the scholarship award is two years.

Call for Applications for NTU Global ATGS Masters Program - Fall Semester 2022
Scholarship Rights
Students who are declared accepted are entitled to the following:
1. Tuition and other tuition fees;
2. Travel allowance to cover international flight costs;
3. Book and equipment allowance;
4. Health insurance; and
5. Living allowance for food, shelter and incidentals.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship:
1. Must be a citizen of a SEAMEO member country;
2. Must not be more than 35 years old at the time of application; and
3. The planned research must be in line with SEARCA's overarching theme of Accelerating Transformation through Agricultural Innovation (ATTAIN) https://www.searca.org/what-we-do.
Registration and Selection Procedure
Applicants must complete the online NTU-SEARCA Joint Scholarship Application Form and upload copies of all required documents.
Documents required to be submitted must be in English:
1. The original Bachelor of Science (BS) transcript or the original certified copy with the University stamp and the original signature of the University Leader. An explanation of the university's grading system must accompany the transcript of academic records.
2. Original BS diploma or legalized original photocopy
3. Employment certificate (if working)
4. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
5. Updated curriculum vitae
6. A brief description of the research that the applicant will undertake for his thesis. The planned research must be in line with SEARCA's overarching theme of Accelerating Transformation through Agricultural Innovation (ATTAIN). In addition, priority research topics should fall within the priority areas:
- Agri-Business Model to Increase Productivity and Income
- Sustainable Agriculture Systems and Natural Resources Management
- Food Security and Nutrition
- Transformational Leadership for Agricultural and Rural Development (ARD)
- Gender and Youth Involvement in ARD
- ARD Upgrade towards Climate Resilience
- EcoHealth/One Health app to ARD
7. Two copies of the applicant's passport size photo
8. Certificate from a doctor that the applicant is in good physical and mental health and is fit to continue postgraduate studies
